Peru is a beautiful country with old traditions and fascinating culture. The country is a cornucopia of sites from beautiful beaches, to deserts, fertile valleys, towering Andes and Amazonian rainforests. Peru offers limitless opportunities for photographing wildlife, landscapes and local traditions. Peruvians are a welcoming and friendly people who will gladly invite you to their homes to experience their life.

This guide offers one of the most challenging itineraries. In ten days, it will take you from the capital Lima to the coast, the famous mountain plateau of Nazca and the charming city of Arequipa before continuing on to the Colca canyon, lake Titicaca with its floating islands and finally Cusco with the spectacular Machu Picchu. It also includes tips on visiting Puerto Maldonado in Amazonia.

The guide can be used as a starting point for a longer trip if you have more time to discover the local culture and way of life.
